We developed RuMesto.com, a large-scale online portal that helps Russian-speaking immigrants in the U.S. find jobs, housing, services and trusted specialists. The platform combines a free classifieds board, a news media outlet and a community hub in one place.

The core of the project is an extensive ad board with over a dozen sections and a deep tree of subcategories: job openings and résumés, real estate, legal and immigration consulting, medicine, home repair, transport, education, electronics, hobbies and more. Users manage listings through a personal account, post free ads in minutes, and businesses can choose paid placement for higher visibility. The portal automatically detects the visitor’s state and shows relevant local content, with the option to switch states manually.

We also built a full-featured news section with topics on immigration, taxes, healthcare, employment and real estate, plus author blogs by lawyers, doctors and psychologists. Images are resized on the fly to keep pages fast, and recommended and recent ad feeds keep content fresh. The site is integrated with a network of regional Facebook groups and Telegram channels that drive traffic back to the portal.
